ALA Salon Huron event TODAY, 10/16, for the library round table discussion series on on ALA Island (196, 206, 29)
On Thursday, October 16th, at 3:30 p.m. Second Life Time/Pacific Time on ALA Island (196, 206, 29), we will have one of our informal Salon Huron events. Feel free to gather with colleagues to discuss topics of the day. Maxito Ricardo will get the conversation rolling with a brief look at the ALA VCL MIG/Virtual Communities and Libraries Member Initiative Group itself — who we are and what we do, and what we hope to accomplish.

Salon Huron can also be reached via the teleporter on the Main Stage of ALA Island (129, 105, 29). Guide your avatar onto the circle. Right-click on the circle to get the pull-down menu of choices, and click for the *Next Page* to get Salon Huron as a choice, and click the Salon Huron Button. Then left-click in the circle and click the Teleport option in the pie chart that pops up, and — swoosh! — there you’ll be at Salon Huron!
