- recently retired from 35 years of work in academic libraries. I received my MLS from Emporia State University in 1969. My first job was at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. From there I moved to Kansas State University, and then to the University of Kentucky where I stayed for 12 years until I became library director at Minot State University in North Dakota, serving in that capacity for 21 years. I decided to take early retirement in December 2005 to spend my remaining years learning how to write historical fiction. I live in Alamosa, Colorado, located in the San Luis Valley, with my wife Judy, an active artist , who also helps with editing all my writing. Hello, thank you for the friend invitation. As I mentioned in the personal message I am currently undertaking my MSc dissertation in Information & Library Studies at the University of Wales at Aberystwyth under the supervision of Dr Allen Foster.
My degree aims to explore the everyday life Information seeking behaviours of Information professionals within this particular social networking site and I need as any individuals as possible from all walks of life in as many different countries as possible to fill out an online asynchronous Interview. There are twenty-one questions in total and the majority of these questions are about your activities pertaining to this social network site . Other questions asked are about your activities in SL itself.
