- I've worked in both public and academic libraries and I have to say that I am better suited patience-wise for academia. Currently, I am an instructional services librarian at an east coast liberal arts university teaching research (information literacy) techniques to freshman through seniors (as well as some faculty! LOL!). In my off hours (when I'm not on SL! LOL!!),I enjoy reading fiction, crocheting and weaving and watching movies. I'm definately a cat person but do enjoy dogs so long as they aren't crazy.
I love the mountains as I spent the majority of my "growing up years" wandering around them. No.. I'm not a hiker but I do appreciate wonderful vistas. At some point, I hope to have a cabin in the mountains and a telecommute position doing virtual reference for online students and get paid well doing it.... OK.. it's a dream but you never know! LOL!
